Happy Friday!

Want to get input regarding an ATB 840 v2 for a 120. Do you think it will handle a heavy sps load? Currently have a 90g that was running for 4yrs that crashed a year ago. Getting back into the hobby . Currently using a deltec ap600 on the 90. Thanks.

I used the ap600 on my 120 for years with a heavy bio load and had great success with sps. Imo i would stick with the ap600 but i really don't know anything about the other skimmer your askjng about.

Sent from my DROID BIONIC

Thanks ! never had any problems with the deltec aswell but have a friend that is selling a A TB with custom.sump for cheap wondering if I should jump on it. Thanks again for your input.

I'm running an ATB 840V2 on a 120 heavily stock SPS tank. I love the skimmer. Easy to dial in, skims great. Before purchasing it, I did quite a bit of research and it came highly recommended.

The atb is going to pull twice the air and move more water than the deltec. Its also going to be quite a bit more efficient as its only going to pull 21w instead of running two pump's on the AP. But you could always give the one you have a try and upgrade if you don't think its keeping your parameters in check.

ACESQ/Luke22-Thanks for taking the time to respond, looks like i will be buying the ATB and keeping the Deltec as a back-up skimmer.
