I keep going back and forth in my mind regarding stocking my 120L (60x18x26) Mixed Reef, thus I'm looking for some input.

Quick tank stats: 120g (60x18x26) been up for ~3 months, everything was transferred from a established 29g, additional cured LR added. 40b sump/fuge, EuroReef 180 Skimmer, Prestige Gamma (LED/T5 combo) lighting.

Looking for a variety of color, all reef-safe as well as invert safe as I have 5 different species of shrimp.

Tangs: (I understand that my tank may not be a 'forever' home for all tangs. If/when they reach that size, I will make sure they are housed in an appropriate tank)
I already have: ~2'' hippo, ~5-6" D. Sailfin

I'm Interesting in:
Chevron, Brown Powder, Purple, White tailed brissletooth - Obviously not adding all of them... I really like PBT but was told it might not get along with the sailfin? (The sailfin was in a 75g with a 4-5" hippo, and purple tang and were all fine), I know purple's tend to be aggressive so it would be added last.

Wrasse:
I already have: 3-3 1/2" mel. wrasse, 2'' Female Blue-Star Leopard (in QT/holding, haven't added her yet)
I'm definitely a wrasse fan, interested in a few more 'cool' ones (that don't completely break the bank)

Angels: Yes i know they are 50/50 reef-safe.... they would be QT'ed...then possibly moved to frag tank (so I can catch them again) to see if they nip softies, then to DT
-Flame Angel
-Coral Beauty or some other colorful dwarf

Others:
-I have a o/w clown and b/w clown - Might think about 'upgrading' them at some point, but they were my original clowns from the get-go.
-Chalk Bass
-Had a Dragon-sleeper Goby...haven't seen him for awhile =/ So possibly another/different sand-swifter
-I'd like a Midas Blenny
-Some form of cool Athnias
-Also would enjoy Copperbanded Butterfly and a Idol (I know they are both tricky)

Completely open to other suggestions - Kind of looking for slightly more 'unique'/colorful options...ie: dragon-sleeper goby vs. yellow watchman..... mel. wrasse vs. yellow coris

Haha, Courageous in the sense of the tangs? I don't want to start a war in my reef - If I can only get away with one more of those, thats fine - just want to make the best selection - Additional wrasses shouldn't be much of an issue... Copperbanded is iffy... I know the Idol is a big challenge.

Likewise, angels are 50/50 - I'd 'test' them in my frag tank/add some frags to the QT and/or get an angel from another reefer who states the angel left softies alone as I have over 75 different types of z/p's.

I'm knew to reef2reef, but have been in SW for several years and am active on several other forums -just looking for more suggestions to get the most dynamic/color-mix :)

I'm seriously grinning...love it! How about my silly opinion...

I dig a white tailed bristle tooth...

As far as angels, I have seen tanks with some "non-reef" stuff that they claim are perfectly well behaved. I just added a Tabacco bass...so I'm probably going to reef time-out too! Lol. My pink skunk and Picasso are not even interested in each other, again some would doubt that. Sunburst anthias are one of my favorite fish and not the most expensive...but aint cheap. Is Christmas wrasse on your list?

I also asked someone who added a moorish idol (tank was shown on this site) how it was doing, he was claiming it was no problem.

Best of luck fellow daredevil.

Yeah, the white-tails are pretty cool, but hard to find.

Totally agree with the angels/ "caution" fish - All depends on the fish itself. Sunburst are nice, that was one of my thoughts. I think a chirstmas wrasse might be to color of coloration to my mel. wrasse. Idols are difficult to transition/get eating, but seem to be fairly decent and get nice long streamers if they aren't bullied.
