Well, I've set the GHL Maxi, plumbed everything, and I'm currently making water to go live with the AWC. Hope to have it up and running tomorrow. Still waiting on my son to help me connect via WiFi, but he promised me he would be available tomorrow to help me out.

Thanks. I"m a little nervous about starting up the AWC. Any change I make to the tank stresses me out for awhile.

I can relate to that, same thing when going on vacation. Everything stays "status quo" until I return - No Matter How Tempting.

Yeah. My son takes care of the tanks whenever I'm out of town. He does a great job, but I still have to check up every night. Just can't help myself.

Well, I brought the GHL Maxi AWC online today. Seems to be working as advertised. I still haven't been able to get it on the WiFi. Not sure if I can get that function. My NSW reservoir is a 55 gallon Brute (on wheels), and I have another with RO/DI on standby to switch them out or in case of emergencies. I have it set to change 1.5 gallons daily over 12 cycles. A total of 45 gallons monthly. I'll be monitoring salinity to make sure that my water out and water in are the same, and make adjustments to the doser speeds as necessary. I hope I thought of everything.

Well, shortly after setting up the AWC, the #1 dosing pump on the GHL Maxi decided to quit. Luckily the awful whining noise it made alerted me to the fact that I was adding water, but not removing any. I contacted BRS, and they sent me a shipping label. I've sent it back and am waiting for info as to whether it will be fixed or replaced. I'll be doing a manual WC tomorrow. Bummer!!

Well, I just got confirmation from BRS. My GHL Maxi is fixed and on it's way back. Hopefully I can have the AWC working within the week. Fingers crossed.

I got the Maxi back and it works! I'm currently changing 1.5 gallons daily spread out over 12 daily applications. I checked the calibration of both heads and they seem to be dead on. I'll monitor salinity for a while as well as the ATO usage, but all looks well. Fingers crossed.
