I have been going back and forth on a stocking list for my 125 gallon FOWLR. Would the following fish be ok?

4x Three Bar Damsel
1x Panther Grouper
1x Lionfish
1x Convict Tang
1x Emperor Angel
1x Koran Angel
1x Dogface Puffer

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Three of those fish need 300+ gallon tanks as adults and will outgrow that 125 in a hurry. Those damsels will make nice snacks for that grouper lol.

Foxface would keep all algae in check. I am not familiar with any of your fish, but I know they grow pretty big . I have a long 125G and cannot picture these fish fitting in it. My foxface is doing well but it is not as big nor as active as the fish you are planing to get.

Dog face puffers get huge, so does the grouper! I would pick a more aggressive tang with that line up if I was you, convicts are really timid and that emperor would probably relentlessly bully him, damsels will probably be lionfish food if its a volitan lion you want!

The panther is cute at two inches, but downright ugly at two feet.

is that a 6' 125?
IDK I dont think that is a good fish list for that size of tank. I have a 200 gal with 75 gallon sump and i am skipping an emp. angel.

IMHO back to the drawing board for you. if you like big and aggressive fish then i would suggest a 300 gal min.

there are some cool DIY plywood tanks out there, it's a great way to go big on a budget.
