1st time poster, I wanted to get some feedback and advice on a 125 FOWLR tank stock list. I've been in the hobby for a few years, but have usually stuck to community tanks with reef elements. My stocking idea is below.

1 - Snowflake Eel
2 - Blue Throat Triggers (pair)
1 - Chevron Tang (or a Purple if needed since Chevrons get big)
1 - Flame Angel
1 - Coral Beauty Angel
1 - Lemon Peal Angel
2 - Black Ice Ocellaris
1 - Harlequin Tusk Fish (The main reason for the tank)

Any feedback would be a big help!

Nice collection of fish, it would be a bit crowded for my taste in a 125g though. One concern would be the 3 dwarf angels, may get a little contentious, all three introduced together would be an idea. The chevron tang is a slow grower, while at some point may or may not need a larger tank, a 6 foot tank will be good for a long while, and I'm sure you'll start with a juvi.. The clowns may want too much real estate if you wanted to keep such a full tank, but I am no fan of clowns. The HT is one my favs, and will likely be your show.

Welcome first time poster. That list of fish can be amazing but you’ll definitely have to be specific in the order you add them or you’ll have serious problems. Definitely will need to invest in some type of acclimation box as well so the tank members can get used to each fish as you introduce it to the others for the first time.

More corals? Lol

I love corals, but I'm more on the rookie side with them. Green Star's, Xenias, Duncans, and Zoo's are my good experiences. Never had luck with dosing, but always did smaller setups where parameters are less forgiving.

I would run a QT tank under my setup, but yeah. Everyone would want to establish their space and the new comer would be bullied most likely. Angels are a pain because they need to be added at the same time. If I dropped the coral beauty it might make things easier. Blue throats need to go in together, tang and HT should go last, etc... this is the hardest part about the hobby. Patience and planning.

Stocking capacity is mainly why I posted here. To save space I could drop the coral beauty (lemon gives the nice pop of yellow the tank wouldn't have), and change the Snowflake out for an engineer goby. Similar effect and look, but half the size and more docile.
Currently have a pair of black ice's in a 30 which I would into the bigger setup, but if there were problems they'd be moved back out. Also have a 3" lightning maroon in her own setup, but she would probably become a bully.
The HT is a must! The Australians are so messing cool. I've always wanted one but never had the setup to do it. Literally want a FOWLR just to keep one.

A snowflake wouldn't likely cause any problems, but an engineer goby, I might rethink that. I like them too, but everyone I know that's ever had them long enough to gett big and mature, hated them. They can get very disruptive, constant blizzard like sand storms, destroying any corals you put on the sand bed.

All good was just being sarcastic lol. Never been a fan of Fowler tanks. I keep freshwater predictor tanks for that. More fish, bigger fish for size of aquarium, can solve all problems with big water change.

Regular water changes solve most concerns with dosing unless tank is heavily stocked with corals. Many people dose when it’s not needed.

What are your freshwater predator setups? I've done SA cichlids in the past. A 125 freshwater I think I would lean toward discuses. And a big school of tetras or barbs.
