125 gallon 2nd build

Alright i posted a 75 gallon tank over a year ago I believe. Well now i got my hands on 125 about 6 months ago and transferred what I could over. This is my old tank. Gross brown algae took over. I struggled with nutrients. I had a decent skimmer and a refugium that was sub par, wink wink.

So i painted the old stand and hooked all the plumbing up. I decided to run zeovit to help with the nutrient issue, so, thats why you see the reactor there. Thats a skimmer I got from the tank seller too. I believe it's an old eshopps 220. So far, it's done well for me. Then the return pump is from my old build, it's a jebao dc 6000.

Im kidding here are a few shots of more recent pictures. I threw the tri color in because of the amazing growth in just a few months. Then thats my gang waiting to come out of quarantine. They're expected to be in the dt by November 7th so mark your calendars. [emoji16]

Most tanks are a work in progress. I know my tank is, that's part of the fun. You go broke working on it. However at least you have something to show for your hard work and money. Your tank is going to look great, keep the pictures coming.

Finally in yay. After 7 weeks in quarantine and 30 days of copper treatment everyone is finally in the tank. Only one that took a hit was the yellow tang and he has obvious signs of HLLE which has already shown dramatic improvement overnight. Ill continue to monitor him though.

Thanks! Its definitely helped me understand things better. Im getting some frags from battlecorals this friday so ill update with what i got. 7 unknowns plus pc rainbow, conveyor belt of fleshdunce, and couchburn are the known 3. Im excited about that. My acros i have now are growing nicely.
