125 gallon flow advice

I’m in the planning phase of upgrading the water flow in my 125g mixed reef. I currently have 4 Hydor power heads of various gph that run full flow/on all the time. No wave maker or controller. I know this isn’t ideal as coral appreciates random movement.
I want to replace my current setup with a gyre or power heads or a combination of both and could use some advice. I’m looking for bang for my buck. Ecotechs would be nice but my wife would divorce me.
The dimensions of my display tank are 72x18x22h. It has a medium to high amount of rock. Not sure actual weight. Pic attached.
The internet says flow for a mixed reef in a tank my size is around 3500 gph. Does that sound right? Does that number include the return pump, which is 950 gph.
I really don’t know the best way to get what I need so any help would be appreciated.

I would go with some of these. They're cheap, silent, and have all of the different flow features I could ever need

Instead of the Jebao pumps, you could pick up the Hydros controller. I believe the Hydors will work with it and you could turn them into wave makers. The jebaos don't last.

I used Sea-Swirls for the return flow. I had 3 in my 125; in each corner and one in the middle. They have a 90 degree swing. I timed them to all flow in the same direction and rotate to produce a "wave".

I have heard mixed reviews on the jebaos. Some have had them for many years, others say they don't last. So I bought the 2yr warranty from eBay for $6. So far the sow pumps have been very impressive. I bought these because I was tired of replacing koralias so often (they tend to leak voltage after a couple of years)

Look at the Icecap Gyre 2K with dual wifi controller. Could get one and add another gyre down the road.
