I am new to SWA, can you explain to an old (slower) new guy what the purpose of the sump sections are for? I really would like to know the purpose of the dividers and chambers. The set up I am going to have has a back mounted skimmer and no sump. Thanks in advance

The first section of a sump is the area where the water collects and typically goes into a sock filter. This same area can house a skimmer. The next section can be used as a refug or a place to put your skimmer. The 3rd section is typically where your return pump is. As far as his sump goes, he can tell you more about that.

How did you join the PVC sheets? I see what looks like red calking
 
Sooo dope, well done. Love that frag tank, I'll have to check them out at advanced acrylic (would go perfect somewhere in my stand with RE sump). Wow, great eye for detail, can't wait to see it full of coral
