So here is my 2 year work in progress of my 125 peninsula tank. I've been doing all of the builds from scratch to accommodate my needs as I progress into the mixed reef that it is starting to become. Here are a few pictures below of what and how this is set up.

LIGHTING:
Currently I have had great success with a simple 6 bulb T-5 fixture from sunlight supply.
I have the light set up to be able to raise and lower as I either do water changes or need to get into the tank.
It also comes in handy for when new bulbs get replaced. I just raise it up a bit and then lower it over time so I dont shock the corals.
Will be upgrading to an ATI 6 bulb dimmable with reefbrite xho on each side. (Can't wait for that major change!!)

FILTRATION:
I have always tried to keep things simple when it comes to filtration. I currently run a sump on the side of the tank. It is accessible from both sides for ease of cleaning and maintenance.
I run carbon in a bag, filter sock and a hob skimmer from reef octopus.
My return pump is a jeabo. the
I have a diy overflow system with two backup aqualifters on it.
An ato with a reserve tank underneath that needs to be refilled every three days.

Corals/Fish:
Since the start I have gone with easy to keep corals to make sure I could maintain a stable environment. I have had great success with everything and only lost one coral in 2 years.
Currently only 6-8 fish
Corals soft and sps 24 different species.
Flow:
I currently run the rossmont waver system. Four pumps two continuous flow and two on 24 hour wave variable cycles. This is where I have my adjustment for my light fixture.

Future plans:
I have made a spot in the top right hand side of the display that will house new corals and be a small grow out tank and new acclimation of corals with similar lighting.

It's not the show tank that I see on here quite often but I'm happy with the progress of it over the last two years. Some day it will be. Isn't it what we all are wanting? I'm in awe of the knowledge on this site and looking forward to learning more as I go. Feel free to give me feedback on anything. Every little bit helps. Have a great day everyone.

Well I think your tank looks great and your future plans are awesome. Nothing "good" happens fast in this hobby. ;)
