Well, 1 Emerald was a goner when I got home last night. She was sumped and not moving. Picked her up and she is limp and droopy. She didn't molt - my sump is empty except for the skimmer so I would see her.

My pitho crab buried himself (small claws, male?), and 3 of the 4 remaining emeralds were eating bubble algae this morning before lights came on.

I blasted 4 aiptasia with lemon juice and then found 3 more so more lemon juice attacks later today. If this keeps up I may grab a Filefish. It's not bad but I don't want it to become bad. Lemon Juice is cheap and easy until it starts progressively getting worse.

I'm trying to decide if I should make a Zoa Aragocrete rack... I know I need one for Gonis. Probably want a smallish one for my Bower and I need one for the Blastos.

Let's see, 11 Gonis - maybe 2 racks for 6-7 each for extras
5 Zoa plugs and 1 colony - 1 multi-tiered rack with 7 plug holes for future Zoas?
6 Blastos so a rack for those plus 2 or 3 spares...
1 Bower but want more so 3 hole rack
2 Micros but need more so 5 or 6 rack
7 Acros need a more permanent home so 3 or 4 more hangers...
10 mushrooms with room for more so 15? Probably 2 racks of 5 with some in the rocks above

Ok, so:

• (1) 9 plug
• (1) 7 plug standard + (1) tiered
• (2) 6 plug
• (2) 5 plug
• (1) 3 plug spaced for Bowers
• (4) 2-3 hole hanging

12 frag racks... Looks like I've got some work cut out for me.

I would not quarantine a cbb. They dont fair well in those. They are like mandarin gobies. They will decline quickly.

So the process is just have the store feed it in front of me and then temp acclimate and plop in DT?

I struck lucky when I got my cbb, I ordered her online.
But, if you can get one from petco eating.. That would be amazng. Only issue with cbb is the damage when captured and method of capture. I didn't see if you had any tangs though...

I would only worry about bringing ich into the display. It's a tough battle when getting pest control. But, hopefully you win the battle against these aiptasia and wont need help

I gave up on the aptasia battle. I was lucky and got some peppermints that tore out every last one.
