I like hunting in the mountains, but these are hills in the desert, not mountains silly. Mountains have trees, these hills have cacti and the occasional Palo Verde.
Only thing that would have made it more gorgeous would have been a mule deer buck or two... I did glass up some donkeys though.

I dunno. I had some donkey salami in Vincena, Italy and it was pretty tasty.
It did smell funky, though.
