I would honestly wait for them to get a big bigger. where you'd have a bit more space to dremel. But, who am I to talk. I never used a dremel yet

Yeah, I'm not too interested in Dremel fragging at this time. When open they're already about 3/4" across.

be super careful of roll-off with the Dremel. I almost got a chance to see my bones messing with one.

Yup, there's been plenty of accidents with them. If I recall, someone got a dremel in the leg. I forget who it was...

The thing I've found using a Dremel to frag is, you really need a third hand, lol! If you have someone who can hold the coral in place for you, you'll be able to do a better job with precise cuts.

Seriously, I'm surprised no one has developed a coral holder for this purpose (like "helping hands" for soldering but with material that won't damage coral...)

Actually, I'd still probably need one hand on the coral for stability... And as for the "volunteer", they could be holding the coral with tweezers, tongs, etc -not at risk of a finger amputation! Lol!
