125 - Took Forever But Here It is!

Well... Possibly losing the torch. Looks like the second head is now disintegrating - still doesn't look like BJD. Who knows.

I think I have toxic sponges. I got some carbon, need to bag it and run it.
It's been 4 months since my last euphyllia just faded away. I was loosing one every few months. It wasn't BJD, they just slowly faded and bailed over a week or two. I used cipro after the last one and haven't lost anymore since.
 
I'll try a glue stick. Thanks! The video was definitely good info but he's getting better adhesion with the glass and Carbor (whatever the rest of the word is) than I am.
 
So far, a more stable table works even without a glue stick. I can see the corner looks like it might be turning up some but we'll see!

I had to let my glass bed preheat for a bit before it worked well. Then maybe slow the first layer down some.
I've been preheating mine.

Maybe. I had it at 50. The Z-axis sits at 2.00 so I went -1.90 on the offset. I bumped it to -1.92 because it looks like it's floating some still. I'ma try washing the glass side and isopropyl and then try the boat again. I may need an enclosure to keep the heat in... Maybe I should shut the ceiling fan off...

You could try 45, maybe 40. I haven't used a glass bed, so I'm not sure. Some people use very little heat on PLA bed temps. Definitely make sure it's clean.

if your offset isn’t right you won’t get the squish you need to keep the plastic on the glass. Work on that till it looks right.
 
Ceiling fan screwed with one of ours the other day, was printing parts for new enclosure and forgot to turn it off - saw some lifting then. As soon as the fan was off all was well again.

It's not just lifting, it's refusing to stick.

So I'm noticing that I set the temp to 50, but when it hit "Start Print" I changes and heats to 60.

For my offset, I scratched the glass a little bit - barely - so I raised it up a little more. Maybe I need to split the difference.

What temperature do you have it set in the slicer, also there is a first layer temp and after first layer temp.

I'm not sure if you can do a temp calibration on that unit, I use Klipper and have different features.

If you don't scratch or gouge your bed, you ain't a printer!!! I've done it a few times too. EVERYONE does it in the beginning.
