I slowed mine down for the first layer to 10 which probably helped a lot with adhesion, then slowed overall to 55 from 60 which may have cleaned it up some but I'm not sure.

I think I was getting about those speeds with pla. Faster first layer, maybe 30. But you have a different hot end I believe

I was joking... Proud of you for figuring it out. I would have probably thrown it out the window.

I'm guessing I messed up on the retraction tower. I downloaded the STL file but didn't add any post processing g-code. It's going to print the entire tower at one speed isn't it?

Not throwing the towel in but relying on printed goods isn't that smart as more get printers.

IDK, anyone following along here and seeing the initial struggles may have wrote off getting a printer. What he's going through is pretty common and he's not done yet


I'm thinking of getting a Bambu next year, those seem to be the best with ease of use and quality at the moment. I still see people having issues though.
