125 - Took Forever But Here It is!

So far I've only used the creality brand and this Amazon one for blue. Just a random brand I tried. No problems so far. Yes to ironing. My printer is in a slightly colder spot so I'm running slightly hotter temps (240 and 80), but it's dialed in and printing consistent. Same settings for creality and the blue brand. I did enclose with a sheet and cardboard and utilized a corner so it's pretty draft free and warm. Good results but it's not exactly a pretty enclosure.

My Sunlu PLA printed better than my Creality PLA and the white was cleaner looking. Side by side, the spools looked similar but the finished project Creality was more yellow looking - almost like it burned?

I've not seen that, both of them print about the same for me, even eSun has been decent.

I haven't tried the more expensive ones yet, hatchbox, matterhacker, prusa, etc.

It's great! black, but interesting: blue, purple, or green depending on angle and light.

The one I've tried is nice, and about the same price as the inland I get from micro center.

Is that a silk PLA? I've used a few and they always turn out pretty good.

I'd be curious on that if it's still reef safe. I've read somewhere that the silks can have extra stuff added that may not be safe for the aquarium.

That stuff has a very silk PLA look to it.

I usually spend $12-$17 a roll for regular PLA and PETG, anything over $20 I pass up unless it's just the right color or whatever I need.

Yeah I've been interested in the glow in the dark and other types But I've read conflicting information even though it's PETG.

Nope! My nozzle was clogged. It's a decent print but the walls are slightly separating. Overall though I think it printed very much good enough for my purposes!

Also, Coral QT for the Acros is now set up. Mixing some water, need a small heater from the garage, and then the dipping can commence! It looks like I have a total of 10 Acro frags.

Got the Acro QT setup. Using a 10 gallon tank, Noopsyche 60 watt and Nicrew 30 watt. I have a 1600 gph powerhead in there to keep the water moving. Dipped 10 frags. Lots of copepods and amphipods, lots of little critters I couldn't identify, and 1 flatworm that was too large to be AEFW (I think...). It was grey. Looked almost like a Euphyllia Flatworm but significantly smaller. I guess it could have been a young one and that explains the torch? I never saw any on the torch but it's always a possibility.
