I have just purchased a 12gal nano and looking to install a skimmer in it. I have found one made by aquaticlife but haven't heard about them. Any suggestions

I'd say skip on a skimmer and just keep up with water changes. But if you want a skimmer, the aquaticlife nano skimmer is a good skimmer.

Thank you for the response. I am going to have a pair of Clowns, a Goby and a shrimp in there that is why I was interested in a skimmer.

I have the hydor slim skim nano in my 10 gal. reef tank and I love it. Keeps my water crystal clear. It is 12" high and 3x3" square.

I want to try to fit it into the chamber in the back of the tank. I have seen a tank that they have it installed in one of the chambers so i'm trying to do that. I am using stock hood and lighting so it has to fit into it.

To get a skimmer in the back and not mod the stock lighting then you are going to have to lower your water line. I have the Biocube skimmer and I had to cut a corner off my cover to get the skimmer to sit out of the water enough so i could fill the tank.

Innovative Marine Desktop skimmer is great. I use it on my 16 gal nano
