I have a frag tank that I want to convert to a small reef. The dimensions are 12h x 22d x 22w. I haven't dealt with a smaller tank in 9 years and when I was running my first tank ever (Biocube) I used a nano style PH and moved up to a larger Korilia. I would like some good flow and wave action as I plan to probably go with mostly euphylia in this tank.

Would you go with 2 powerheads or 1 and which ones? Want something sleek and non intrusive to the overall look of the tank. Was thinking of the new Nero(s) but I am not sure how many reviews are out there on these pumps or if it will still be too big for my system?

Edit to mention that it is 3/4" thick acrylic which I had a Korilia on and it stuck fine so not sure if acrylic is different from glass as far as the magnets go.

Jebao PP-4 or Koralia nano units would be good

Thanks for the advice. I've looked at the Jabao's. Had a PP-8 on this tank at one time but it quickly shorted and shocked me when I put my hand in the water. Kind of scared me. May go with it again though.

What about icekap units? Anyone like theirs?
