Those are only 5000K though

A lot of floods are 5000k but maybe they have a 6500k. I didn't notice it if they did. I know people grow cheato with 5000k. Many examples here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/refugium-light-ideas.261899/page-2

You can return it if it doesn't work... just keep the packaging and keep it in good shape. They have a 90 day return policy I think.

Fish are pretty rare as a live rock hitchhiker. I think just get the tank together first then decide after you see how much money you have left.

Yep split that then buy dry rock to add more area for bacteria to colonize and fish to hide.
