I have a mini and a large over the 185 both 400 watt each. But for the 130 I was trying to do it with one large reflector at 400w

Well if you doa minimal scape and keep it towards the middle of the tank then that should work just fine. You could put NPS, Chalices etc in the lower light areas.

How you guys keep it clean? After having a bare bottom tank it's crazy all the stuff that settle in certain areas

Open rock scape, even on the bottom. Dont let your rock actually take up too much footprint on the sand. Various flow and nassarius snails too.

Personally, I've never been a birdsnest fan but always have at least one to be my "indicator" sps that something may be off.
