Hey guys so it is time to start a fish build for my new tank. I just need to creat a baseline. This tank will house some expensive fish but nowhere in the 300 range max 250 prefer 200$. Any thoughts. This will be a mixed reef I want to focus on smaller fish such as anthias and wrasses. This is bare bottom as well with tons of current for the SPS.

My Fish list

Atlantic blue tang or Purple tang
(Some other tang) maybe a convict tang or achilles tang

Red head solon wrasse(got this one)
Exquisite fairy wrasse(2)
Hooded fairy wrasse or flame fairy wrasse(2 of them)
Red Vevet fairy wrasse(1-2)
Labouts Fairy wrasse(1)
Pink margin Fairy Wrasse (2)
Rhombic Fairy Wrasse(1)

Fathead anthias(2 females)
Princess Anthias(3 Females)
Dispar Anthias(1)
Bartletts Anthias (1)

Fairy wrasses do better as single specimens per species, not as prs. Wrasses don't form bonded prs, so females are likely to transition to male, even with another male present. And males of the same species can be quite intolerant of each other.

I would also advise against an achilles tang in a 135g.

Dispar anthias do better with others of their own kind.

Bartletts are more aggressive than the other anthias you are considering.

So basically do 1 wrasse of each of what I listed. and drop the dispar anthias or add more of them?

My thought was since the tank is 6ft long the achillies would be ok in the tank since they rather have length more than any other dimension.

Correct

It's really a species better suited for 8' tanks.

Any other thoughts I really don't like the kole tangs though.

Nearly any bristlooth tang, most zebrasoma tangs (if added at the same time as the purple, as it is also a zebrasoma), or smaller acanthurus such as chocolate tang may work.

Regarding the Atlantic/Caribbean Blue tang, they get rather large, quickly. As they grow, they become very aggressive. I’d advise against them in less than a 6 foot tank as well.
