135G A.G.E. Hybrid Cube

Part of the plan with moving the overflow is to use the existing holes for a closed loop. And then I will use my 2 Tunze 6045s with the CL and probably sell my 2 mp40s.

I would build like a volcano around that overflow. :D

I made the choice..

I will be moving the over flow straight up in that picture to the back wall. The existing holes will be used for a closed loop and will be hidden by a center island of rock.

using 2 mp40es on back wall wave motion and a blueline external return pump, which uses a 1" through the middle of center return branching off 2 lock line snakes. I had to turn it WAY down too much flow, but all is good.

My wife has me considering a corner over flow. It will free up more space to get the aquascape I want for this tank.

Luckily I have a great acrylic/plastics company right down the road from my office. I was going to just move the existing overflow, but I want more surface skimming area, So I think I'm going to have them build me one that is 12" long, x 6" wide and that will make it easier to have a standpipe and a backup along with a pass thru and a return line all contained within the overflow box.

More pieces to the puzzle!

HA! Many pieces to reef puzzle!

I should have my modified overflow back tomorrow or wednesday, then it's time to drill the pvc bottom for the new overflow location.

More progress.

The two bars close together will be where I mount the dart and a few electronics.
