1370 gallon propagation system

Light rack done or whatever you wanna call it. Was very hot today and water temp is at 82.9 degrees F. Not bad actually. My 300G blue tub in garage is at 84 for two days and everything seems fine. IMG_1988.JPG IMG_1989.JPG IMG_1990.JPG

Just picked up this peninsula 240G that will tie into the system. I am more likely going to use the 300G blue tub as a quarantine instead

Picture of the 300g blue tub that I keep mentioning. It's currently housing livestock from my other 300G that is being repaired.

I really can't tell from your pics, but it looks like you can fit a few more tanks in that building, before you have to expand to the loft.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Maybe move that car over and put a whole row of glass tanks there.... I mean you might as well do it now while you have the PVC cement out

In due time it will have more tanks but not tied into this system. Fish cubicles along the 240g. The car will move to my garage when I get back my other 300g at home. The blue tub goes to the warehouse. This is alot of work doing it by myself. LOL

Speaking of PVC cement. By the time I'm done with this build I might not even know what these tubs and aquariums are for. Inhaled too much fumes! LOL

Painted and added light rack to the aquariums today. Stained the stands too. There are pods all over. Good sign of life already in the system, except for three aptasias. Gotta pull those suckers out.

GEO CR1218 arrived today. Very exceptional! High quality throughout. Thank you George for building a fine product. I thought my CR818 is big. CR1218 is a monster! Larger than a 5 gallon bucket. My 5 year old daughter can fit in there. I asked her to get in but she wouldn't. LOL.

Let there be flow! Got my Jebao WP40's and Gryphon XL 42". So much detritus blown off the rocks.

Besides this prop system. My repaired starphire 300g arrived and is now in my garage. Have to set that system up at home too! :)

This is awesome! I really like it. I recently tackled this on a very small scale, a 240G tub w a 150G sump. Its been a dang challenge. I'm super impressed with what you've done.

Great call on the XL Gryphon. I bought the small version and regret it since I have a hard time cutting colonies.

I have a question with your rock. Is this live rock that you just started using?

The purple rocks you see are Walt Smith man made cultured live rock from Fiji. They mix it with an oxide to make it purple. The rest are premium Fiji branch and base dry rock. You can see the pic where the whole sump was full of foam from the curing. I used natural live sea water from UCSB since I live in Santa Barbara. Lucky me I guess. Made many trips back and forth to get 1300+ gallons. Truck payload safely transported between 150 to 175 gallons max. I'm letting the system mature more before I add anything. Though there are a bunch of pods already. While I let this system sit, I'm working on my 300g that I just got back from repair.

Thanks to all that like the system I'm putting together. Once this is done and all livestock are settled in. A 1000 gallon display will be in the works at the same location.
