Be prepared to start dosing alot of CA,Montipora suck it up fast.

They look nice, little small, but they will grow over that plug I bet in a little over 2-3 months.Probably faster.

Ok i will test CA more often, i was happy with the size of them!

jedi mindtrick is one of my favorites i got from mark poletti....the blue rim is sweet!! mine is about almost 3" in diameter

Today im gna try to post some good pics of those zoas so you can see the colors

the flesh is pulling away on that chalice. You'd better watch it closely. First chalice pic upper left.

yea i no, it wasnt that bad in the pic from the vendor, is there any good ways to keeping maximum health on a chalice in that condition?

my method for "helping" chalices is what SDguy told me- if it's not looking great, give it a revive dip and put it at the bottom of the tank, or a little more in the shade than it was. So far it's worked out good for me.

i dipped it when i got it, its midway. in a overhang type area, mostly shaded but some parts arent, should that be good enough?

Watch the coral, it'll tell you if it's good enough or not, ya know? If it keeps receding, give it more shade. If it looks happy and healthy, don't mess with it if it doesn't need to be messed with.
