I wanted to see if anyone could give me some ideas on livestock for my 140g reef. I would like to create a functioning ecosystem within my aquarium. so fish that are as useful as beautiful is my goal here. for ex Im thinking about getting a Christmas wrasse and a yellow watchman goby to help stir the sand bed. I currently have 2 snowflake clowns, yellow tang, sailfin tang, and a baby hippo tang. And cleaner shrimp plus snails n hermits. Please any input on this? Thank you

I have a 40 gal sump with cheaydo and lr. Reef octopus bh150 skimmer

You're pretty much maxed out on the big fish, and with what you have, they might be pretty aggressive with newbies. What's your budget for fish?

Yeah I wasn't gettin any more big ones but a good budget for me would be under 80 or 90 a fish. Won't pay more then that.

A pair of Flame Hawks if you don't have the cleaner in there yet. Some fairy wrasses if you can find a good deal. An orchid dottieback, Melanurus wrasse can help with some pests. Cardinals if you're into those things.

I heard flame hawks will eat cleaner shrimp and some crabs so I wanna stay away from thos if what I heard is true. i do like wrasse tho would a Christmas wrasse and a small fairy wrasse get along together?

Yes, they will much on the shrimp, that's why I mentioned if you hadn't added it yet. Christmas wrasses are gorgeous, and they will do well with a fairy

Awesome. Well I think I'll jus go with them. I think that should be good as far as fish go. still want a yellow watchman though
