The wife left for work, here’s my chance! I needed my water changing station back and the rock I had curing was blocking it and using my chiller to keep the water below 2,000 degrees. Stupid Texas heat! The rock no longer stinks so I should not get too much flack for moving it inside. Besides figured this was a good chance to do a water change. I moved the rock bucket into the kitchen since the house will keep it cool enough. Changed out the water and up and running again. Started putting my water changing station back together. Still need to clean up some wires.

What is the lighted button? A button plugged into the breakout Box? Awesome build thread man
Parts have slowly been coming in for the tank. Retro T5 kit and Plumbing from BRS, Amazon for break out box buttons and plug extensions, Zen Reef for the sump catch tray and 8020.net for the light rack.

Yes, I bought 6 to use for the break out box. They can either be lit all the time it only lit when activated. I was thinking all the time
Would be nice, but I have a child who likes to push buttons. May need to design a lock case for them...

Well, I made the sump catch tray as large as I could and still fit in the stand. Not much room for water once the sump is installed!
We also figured out the trim for the stand. Getting closer to all the parts being in one house.

Time to screw it all together! Presley @ Elvis Aquatics has once again made my crazy drawings a reality! I bought a paint gun to use around the house but figured I’d let Presley try it out first. Especially since there is quite a bit to paint! Doing all the wood in a darkish gray color. Think it’s called Galaxy Gray.

All my crazy sketches that Tuan @ Zen Reef and Presley @ Elvis Aquatics had to deal with....I appreciate all the crap they both had to deal with more than they know! Hoping they don’t both kill me in the next two weeks and still talk to me after those two weeks

What part of this hot box of a state do you live in? I am in FW and am fighting with keeping my water station below 100 degrees. I may break down and buy a chiller, but i am still looking at other options for the time being.

I’m in San Antonio. I was using rodi ice cubes but was hard to match the temp of the tank. Tracked down a used chiller and that has worked great so far.

Thank you sir. Yeah i did RODI frozen bottles and bags... it was a PITA, so i am looking for a used chiller now. It blew my mind that my water temp went from 68-104 in 2 days.
