Standard 15 AGA 24"x12"x12", But I cleaned up the silicone in front and removed the top but not for long as the top will be fitted with mesh for jumper deterrent system.

Tank will be T5 driven for now 4x 24" ATI bulbs, perhaps some LED actinic strips too.

Things to do:

Paint back, add awesome contents.

Fish will be my two black and white ocellaris and perhaps a wrasse, or blennie, and maybe some gobies, I will certainly keep up on filtration to accommodate any load.

3 things really scare me about your tank. 1.Removing the top trim on a tank designed to have the trim. 2. It looks like some glass was cut out of the back panel to add the overflow and on glass that thin (with no extra support from the frame) I would expect it to crack. 3. The hole drilled for a return(?) is too close to the edge of the glass. Sorry to be a negative ninny but just very concerned.

That is fine. the glass on 15 gallons is nearly 1/4" and plenty strong even without the brace. I have a lot of experience drilling tanks and have successfully drilled a 2.5 gallon tank with both overflow and return. The external overflow box itself adds support to the glass. 15 gallon tanks are built fairly well compared to the rest of the smaller AGA tanks a 10 gallon has extremely thin glass in comparison yet is the same height. I would be VERY impressed if the glass actually did crack on this tank given its dimensions. The top rim on this tank serves to keep it from cutting the owner. Also the top will be put back on the tank with a netting to keep fish from jumping. I do not agree with removing the top black brace on smaller AGA tanks as their glass is extremely thin.

I have several years experience messing with glass and have no worries at all with doing these things to a 15 gallon.

Can't wait to see it come together!

Very nice!! Lookin' forward to seeing how it turns out! :D

I put the top on so you can see. This was no where near as easy as I had imagined it would be in my head. I had hoped to use some super glue gel to hold spots while I epoxyed but the superglue gel takes forever to set up on this surface and only proved to make things more ugly. I am not finished with it yet I had to get more epoxy. Next time if there is one I'm going to make sure I have some regular superglue lol. The gel only left me with some ugly spots of hard white chunks.

seems great! is it running with a sump or you are just gonna do water changes? ( sorry if i missed where it says that if it does). im very interested cause i like the idea of the overflow like that!
great job and not breaking the glass while cutting, me, i need more experience in that departmet i just keep breaking crystals especially the 2.5 ones

Wow tank looks great like what you did for the overflow. Will follow along!

This looks sweet in person let me know what you think. The left side I really love and can't really capture all the cool nooks and crannies it has.
