Hi all and Happy New Year! I am a longtime lurker but this is my first thread. I'm starting a new build and I am looking for feedback on my aquascape. I used pukalani nano rock connected using Aquaforest Stone Fix. The whole scape consist of 11 cemented pieces that are linked together.

Busy was the first word to my mind as well, my eyes just don't know where to focus.

I would prefer some open space, varied levels, caves, ledges, swim throughs.

Maybe take some pieces and add going up on a couple, open it up some.

mac, you obviously did some research, as seen by how you used the tape to make your pattern. but it looks like you didn't hit the points high and low. or could be the camera angle the pic was taken at.

What are your intentions for the tank? That has a lot to do with it. I, personally, really like it, especially from the top down. I think the intricacies of your plan get hidden (busy) from the front view. I'm no expert, just my $.02

Sorry I have not replied but life caught up to me in a big bad way and I had to put the aquarium on hold. I am finally in a place that I can start the build again. Thank you for your suggestions. I agree it was a little much and have opened it up some. This is the aquascape today. The tank is cycling.
