Hey y’all, just set up my 150 and I was looking to get opinions on the aquascape. I’m a big fan of the natural reef look not just one big rock structure. I spent all day today creating a pillar look. Let me know what y’all think. Should I connect some of them or leave it as is.

Thanks in advance!!

I like it. Plenty of room for tangs to swim threw. How ever i dont see to many places to hide. Maybe do a pile with pilars

Not a fan, but if you like it then go with it!
My suggestion would be to review the rule of thirds and use that to guide your aquascape. Every rock structure is the same height and doesn’t create depth for your tank. Might I suggest you to look into incorporating some over hangs and arches to allow places for fish to retreat to when they feel threatened.

I am not a fan of columns normally (looks unnatural to me) but I do really like yours........somehow you managed to make it look more natural than most column tanks.....each column seems to fit together like a puzzle. Good job :) If I had any suggestions, maybe pile some rock randomly around the bases of the columns to pull each column into the next.
