Well i fould a tank that i REALLY liked and got a pretty good deal on it so now its time to start the build. This is my first build thread so bare with me. It will be the marineland 150 dd with a frag tank connected to it. I have already started to build so i will post some pictures.

I decided to try to do a DIY background on this so I can attach corals to it. I used pond foam from the hardware store, some rock rubble, and egg crate.

I ended up getting a bunch of tounge and groove cedar for free and some cedar lumber. So that's what I decided to use for the stand.

I ended up making my own frag tank, same footprint as a 40 breeder but only 9 inches tall. This was my first attempt. I decided I didn't where I drilled the holes so now I'm wait on more glass to get cut

If anyone has suggestions on how I should plumb it, please let me know what you're thinking

Here is how I'm thinking about doing my rock work. I'm trying to avoid the "pile of rocks look", let me know what you think or what might be better!
