150 gpd membrane and aquatech 8800 pump - no go?

I am thinking about experimenting with 150 gpd membranes. I have a aquatech 8800 pump, but I think I was once told that it cant keep up with the volume needed for a 150 gpd membrane.

It would need to put out 450 gpd - or more depending the the rejection rate, right?

From what I am calculating from the aquatech spec sheet, the 8800 at 80 psi output pressure can only do about 264 gpd... so it would be maxed out with a 90 gpd membrane.

Is this correct?

My aquatech runs my 2 100gpd in membranes at 90 psi just fine in water saver setup. Never did any calculations to see what the flow rate is.

I have the 8800 and I have a 75gpd membrane and then a second 75gpd membrane that takes the waste water like the BRS water saver, and I have no issues running it. It makes pretty close to the 150 a day it’s supposed to.

I run the same but at 80psi I'm sure I could turn it up just don't have a reason to... no issues

I was actually unable to get it any lower.

Are you running them in parallel or in series (like the BRS water saver method)?
