Hi all,

I recently acquired a second hand aquarium 150g and some of the silicone is pretty rough and dirty as you can see in the picture. Does anyone have tips for how to resilicone and the best brand for a tank this big?

What's the goal here?

The rough looking seams would just be cosmetic. The silicone in between the panels is what matters for holding water.

If the tank leaks, then you would have to pull the panels apart and put it back together. A big tank would be very difficult for a hobbyist to do.

If the tank doesn't leak, and you want to improve the cosmetics of the seams, that can be done if you're careful and not overly picky.

Just realized it’s 90g and not 150 I measured it wrong lol. Ideally I just want to remove the dirt that has got wedged under the silicone. Do you think this is doable without disturbing the seal?
