Hey all, I have a 150g tank and I am trying to fit a sump. I have a center divider between the aquarium which block essentially any tank lager than a 29g. I was hoping to put a 55 or so and then use the extra room for an ATO reservoir and some dry storage. I was curious if anyone knew if this could be removed or if is structural to the stand. If not is a 29g enough to reasonably hold excess water volume, the one thing I really don't want is a flood.

These type of stands are designed in which the sump is placed in at the rear of the tank

You mean as in behind the stand? I can get a 30in tank in no problem from the front. The openings are 35.5 in long wall to wall. I was hoping to remove the plywood if possible and put in a 48in tank.
