Hi I have an alert on eb832 for amp
D8FFB43E-BBDA-477F-9B74-A15821F2F3D5.jpeg

Is there a way to get rid of this alert?

My outlets are connected to individual 20 amps breaker so really not concerned here with 15amp alert.
Thanks

Your breaker maybe OK but your 832 is limited to 15 amps:
From manual:
WARNING – DO NOT EXCEED ELECTRICAL RATINGS: • The maximum load rating of each individual AC outlet is 7 amps; do not exceed this. • The total current/power draw for all active outlets must not exceed 15 amps or 1500 watts, whichever is less. • The combined total maximum load on the (2) DC24 outputs and the (3) 1LINK ports must not exceed 100 watts

Are your pumps and skimmer really using that much power?
If so you've got too much load on that EB; I'd buy another one and split up the load, before the one you have fails.

Question is does your return pumps and skimmer usually run above 4 amp? Seems awfully high, what r you running if they normally run that high, 1 hp motors. If they don't normally run that high then I would actually check your voltage at the plug with a meter. The power bar shows 117 volts, well, voltage fluctuates throughout the day. At night voltage is higher and amperage is lower, as the heat of the day come around the voltage drops as people use the power on the grid and thus the amperage goes up. Another thing to consider is the plug going bad. The same will go for a bad plug or outlet, as they go bad they came cause higher amp draw. Does any of the chords seem hotter than normal?

I just saw you live in atl, same here, I know for a fact the the power grid here is jacked up. I tested a business and it was at 508 volts for a 460 v building.

Your eb832 may fail as its rated to 15 amps as others mentioned.. plug something high amp draw directly to outlet.. frying an eb832 can hurt

If your devices don't typically draw that kind of power, it may be that the power meter on the EB has gone bad.
I suspect this might be the case, as your MP60s are also reading higher wattage than should be possible.
Was there a sudden change in the readings? You can check this by looking at the energy data history for each device on the Input Logs page.

Thanks for responses folks. I didn’t realize about max load on eb832. I will be splitting this into multiple eb units
I’m running two dolphin 6250 pumps which are 1/3 HP and on skimmer two older red dragon pumps. All four combine together for about 14amp

4 mp60s I put on 2 separate eb4 units not to overload eb832. Confusion came originally when I was thinking that each individual plug on eb unit is rated for 15amps

After split the power I still have yellow alert on main unit, should I be concerned about it?

The warning indicator in yellow means that you are near the limit of the EB832, whereas the red alert you saw before meant that you were overloading it. 14A is not in the danger zone, but I'd still move things around so you aren't quite so close to the max - maybe put the MP60s back on the EB832 and move a Dolphin to an EB4

Why is it my skimmer pumps show 5.6 amps
Shouldn’t it then be more watts?
5.6amps x 120volts = 672watts?

It’s two red dragon pumps 2500

Wonder if one going bad, performance wise it’s great.
