Like the title says, I have a very large red carpet anemone that was bigger than expected and doesn't fit in my tank.

Looking to get $750 plus shipping for this beauty.
Standard DOAs apply

Text me for pictures if you need them asap, going to take more when I get home from work.

Thanks

just a thought, why dont you cut it in half, keep half and sell the other? take some time to heal but you can keep one and sell the other after it heals.

This is not a bta... I would advise doing some research before suggesting something like that. If you cut a carpet nem, you are very likely to just end up with 2 dead halves down the road...

I gave an opinion on something i read here i believe. I would think you should be telling him to do his research before listening to anyone... not just jumping on a whim.

here it is on youtube... i can admit i wouldn't cut 1 into 4 like this guy did but 3 out of his 4 survived....

how much research have you done on cutting carpet anemones and them surviving???

i have actually done a lot.... anyone can cut a carpet nem into pieces. where is the follow up video from 6 months and a year down the road???

i have read numerous reports of people trying, and the majority end up withering away....

carpet nems are not like bta's or some of the other nems that split to reproduce naturally.

why don't you try posting this on the anemone forums and see the kind of responses you get? research the people who have tried and the long term success rates. you will find that the vast majority do not succeed long term.... just like i stated... this isn't the place to debate this either. go to the nem forums and get educated....

who came to a selling post to tell someone what to research and start a discussion/argument?
Why don't you go follow your own advice and go post in another section....
Like i said i made a suggestion, he can do his own research and take the advice or not.
