Okay ill just admit it, I got ya on a bit of click bait because im not actually building this system......yet, STICK with me tho! This is my dream system totaling 1658g that I will build one day but for now this thread is just for discussion and day dreaming. I will have a room dedicated to this system and below is the floor plan.
The frag tank, mangrove table, sump and 470g will ideally all be on one loop with the quarantine racks 3 tanks all on their own small sumps or with just sponge filters. The floor and all the walls will be sealed against water with a center floor drain and I will have an elevated false floor so I can spill all the water I want. Here is the cool part tho, I will have a sky light over the mangrove table to grow the mangroves! The work bench will be stainless steel with a sink and built in cutting boards and the room will have its own fridge. Some might wonder why the display is small compared to the rest of the system and that is because thats all I want, I think bigger will get hard to keep in the immaculate state I like for a display.
Some of the stuff im not sure about is the plumbing.....see I want the mangrove table to flow from one end to the other and plan to have mud in it as well but I also want the frag tank on the loop and the sump so thats a lot to just gravity feed, but im not sure about how multiple pumps would work out trying to keep it all in sync?
