Hello all. Well all my nassarius and cerith snails came in yesterday. I acclimated them to the water and released them today. They're all over the tank. I'm very happy they are already at work. Also I noticed one of my hermit crabs changed shells. Big smile on that too. However, I have a 75 gal tank and my old powerheads came with the set up so I don't know the size those were before they broke, but I just replaced them with a 1600gph dual head wavemaker. I have it on the far left side of the tank with one head pointed up kinda above/at the LR and one pointed down toward the substrate. But the question is....is there a such thing as too much flow? The set up we have going on is a custom set up from the previous owner. I will try my best to describe it and I'll include pictures. On the right side of the tank, we have the return flow from the sump which includes 7 positionable nozzles. This also acts kinda like a powerhead. But not strong enough for the whole tank obviously. Then in the back of the tank, I have a small 300l/h pump that points towards the front of the tank. Then on the left side we have the 1600gph powerheads. I've read that u only want a slight "sway" from ur corals. Not a dance. But I've also read that when applied right, there's no such thing as too much flow? So I'm just asking if this sounds acceptable I guess. I know I will need to reposition about also dozen times to get to where I like them and there are no dead spots, but it would help to know if I need to reposition in a certain format or use less. Or more? Here are some pix. In the first pic u can see the left and middle pumps. In the second is a pic of the customer return nozzles (turned off for pic cuz it was causing blurry image) and third pic is off the whole set up (u have to see the nozzles from up top under the light) I only have a kenya to Guage off of but it seems to be just faintly swaying (also it's away from the 1600gph pump) but seems happy

An extra 1600gph would be a good 2nd addition, but not necessary.
