What's up R2R!

I've been slowly building my "dream tank" for almost a year now. Funds have been tight recently which have slowed progress.

I know for a fact I want to use T5 lighting and already purchased around 2 years worth of bulbs. There are just so many options out there and I want to make sure I do it right the first time.

The tank is a ~169 gallon 3/4" starphire rimless built by Miracles In Glass.
Tank dimensions are 72x30x18 (shallow reef)

Sump is custom from Building an Obsession and built for using the Zeovit method.
48x18x16

Skimmer : Lifereef svs3-24
Zeo Reactor : KZ Maglift
Return Pump : Vectra L1
Water Movement : MP40QD

I'm curious what your opinions are, on my T5 options, for a 30" front to back tank width but with only 18" of depth.
I want to keep mainly SPS with some LPS in the lower light areas.

I've been eyeing the Pacific Sun Diuna T5 10x80w fixture. It's very sleek and matches the look of my tank (white).

Just need a light and controller at this point

Here are some pics.
Leme know what you think :)

Those tank dimensions are perfection, looks so dang good.

This is going to be a great build! Looks awesome already!
Just curious, why did you keep the sliders underneath the tank?

Very nice build, The sump is impressive

Just so I can move it to hang my light. I'll pull them out before filling with saltwater

Ohhh I see! I just realized that this beauty is 72" long, that's crazy!
Will you be using full on T5s or hybrid fixture? I looked up the Pacific Sun light you mentioned above and that looks killer! I have seen people do amazing things with ATI but I myself love LEDs.

I want to use full on T5 on this build. I used T5 several years back before I got out of the hobby for a little bit.
When I got back in I bought a 90 gallon ELOS and put a pair of the GHL Mitras 6200 LED's on top of it.
Was a sweet little tank but eventually gave it to my father and downgraded to a IM Nuvo 30l with a pair of Radions above it.

Don't get me wrong I love LED's and the release of the new GHL Mitras 7200 has me thinking long and hard haha. But I would need 4 of them to cover this tank.
And the ATI Hybrid... Ugh so many choices lol...

I just miss the T5 look.

Very nice tanks man.
Well, since you already have a ton of bulbs I would say that either the Pacific Sun or ATI would be great lights. There is a tank at my LFS with ATIs and man its the most stunning SPS tank I have ever seen!

Decisions decisions.....

I had both hybrids on a 48"×48"×16" but it was overkill for me. Now I have a 8 bulb hybrid on a 210 gallon, an old 8 bulb powermodule on a 125 and I have one hybrid left on the 48"×48"×16" along with 2 kessil a360we tuna blue.

Yea I jumped the gun on the bulbs haha

The 10 bulb Dunia fixture would cost me around $1300 shipped from Poland.

I think the ATI Hybrids are twice that if not more

I bought one 48" hybrid used for 1 year for 1300 and bought a brand new one from brs during black friday sales for like 1800 and some change.

72" tank though... I'll need the 60" version
