16ga biocube with skimmer and chaeto

Hey everyone I posted my 57ga rimless last week and started a 16ga biocube. Its coming along so I thought I'd make a build threat for that tank. So far I only have 2 pieces of rock but i have another that will go in next week. In the back I have an innovative nano skimmer that I put in chamber 2 and the silencer hangs over the back. It was to short for the water level so I elevated it with the stock dividers. I cut the bottom of the sides to right below the first line which was about 2 inches off the bottom. I took out the factory filter from chamber 1 and put chaeto. I had taken out the divider in the return chamber and used that filter on top of the chaeto to help control it. I'm lighting just the chaeto with a 7.5in cool white led i got off amazon. Time will tell if this setup works but for now i'm happy with it. I'll wait a week to put fish in but eventually it'll be home to a pair of oscellaris clowns/magenta dottyback/cardinal and a lawnmower blenny from my old tank. I'm undecided if I'll put in my fighting conch/anemone and maxima clam but i decided not to put in my hippy tang and sell it locally. Hopefully I can post in the selling section soon so my old stuff can find new homes. All criticism is welcomed and I'm glad to be on the site.

Im thinking of starting the same tank here soon, love the setup. How loud is the water falling into chamber 2?

It was really loud if you keep the water close to the minimum. When you fill it up so it covers the measuring window it gets better but its the quietest now that i have the skimmer in chamber 2.it all depends how far the water falls into chamber 2

Looks good so far, i would try to get some more flow by adding a pump in the display par for the corals.

Hey just wondering how your biocube setup went I would like to do the same to mine however I just have one question. Are you using any filter media in the back like filterfloss or purigen?
