Pains me to put this up for sale. Long story short: this was(is) my dream shallow cube that I always wanted. I got it custom made three years back for our office/shop but I transitioned into a new career and am currently renovating my house to set up my 225 in-wall and 50 cube. My 50 cube is a miniaturized version of this tank.

This is a 72"X36"X16" 3 panel Starphire Lee Mar with Black back. The Eurobrace is Starphire as well. I run all my tanks with Beans overflow and get my C2C's custom made with 1/2" black acrylic, a 1" lip and a 1" radius at the corner notches. I've gotten four of these weirs fabricated now and they all perform seamlessly with no bowing. I also had them bevel the outside corner of the overflow and kept a 90 degree angle on the edge of the spillover lip. This creates more of a true "sheet" spilling over into the C2C. The largest weir LeeMar would make was a max of 24," which is of course not a true coast to coast, hence the custom weir I had fabbed.
The tank is drilled with 2&3/4" holes for the bulkheads(5 total inline)

The stand: welded 1.5" Box tubing 1/8" thick with support gussets in the corners and 8 threaded weld nuts placed underneath each vertical beam and leveling feet each with a load capacity of 3600 lbs each. Stand was then bead blasted and powdercoated black and skinned with 3/4" maple ply.

The glass is flawless with no scractches. I cleaned it with nothing but microfiber and glass sponges since I've had it. Sandbed is gone but there is still some excess silicone on the floor of the tank from when I had it bare bottom with starboard. The silicone easily comes up with a razor knife.
All Bulkheads and Gate valves are Spears brand.

Minimum I'll take is $2000 which is well below what I have into it. Not in a rush. I'll be keeping the return pump.

PM if interested or reply here for ?'s. Thanks for looking.

How much does a stand like that cost to have built and coated?
Roughly $240 for the steel, 300-400 for the welding( unless you know how to weld and have all the gear) and then about 250 to blast and powdercoat it. Add another 80-100 for the leveling hardware that I used.
That's approximate to what I paid. I just got a similar stand welded for my 225 in wall last week.
I'd be careful who you let weld your stand. Easier said than done to get it straight. The dude in my neighborhood that I use for my welding projects is a welder/mechanic for the Navy. This one is going to the powdercoaters this week.

Thanks for the nice pictures on the welding. I never seen such fancy tools for welding a corner with so it perfect 90. GLWS.

No prob. He has all kinds of other stuff like military software where he can draft up a CAD and apply "pressure" on the model until it fails to identify the fail/weak points. Obviously way overkill for a reef aquarium, but why not? I had one really bad experience getting something welded by a random dude off of C-list in the past.

Pic of the weld nuts and ball and socket leveling feet. This is the new stand but I had it done to the one in this ad.

The weeks are ok. Tell your welder he needs to add a little more fill at the terminus.

Naw, I'm just kidding. I'm a welding inspector. Tank and welding are outstanding. Free bump for a gorgeous tank.

Thanks dudes. If it sells cool, if not no big deal. I'm doing another build on the downstairs level of my house and may have picked up on a very reluctant green light vibe from my wife on plumbing the two tanks together if worse comes to worst ;)

Sounds like the "worst" possibility would be freaking awesome!! I'm new to the hobby and I can't wait to start getting equipment for my setup!! Keep me updated on everything!

Yeah just wasn't planning on having three tanks going at once. I suppose plumbing two together would equal one tank, at least that's what I've been trying to convince myself of!
Welcome to the hobby dude.
When I first got in, I swore I would never have anything larger than my 34 gallon Solana. The hobby is addicting, as you can see.

I'm wanting to start with at least a 100gal rimless. I tried to convince myself to start with a FOWLR setup, but I like corals to much! Haha. I know if I started smaller, I'd be kicking myself in the butt for not starting bigger.
