Going to add plywood to top ?

That looks like the foundation for a sky scraper! Do you have enough room inside?

I built stand around the sump . My last builds did not have enough room in sump area. Not this one. My pics are a little behind. I’ll update soon

This is looking great! I'm trying to build my own stand for a 125 and need some tips. Do you have any you're willing to share?

You tube is your friend. Plenty of videos. Probably the best was king of diy.
Build on flat even ground
Precise cuts
Harbor freight tools work, levels etc
Pre plan layout ( size, height)
Straight lumber
Wholesale cabinet skin was expensive. Plywood stained would have close to same results
If using a sump filter at bottom of stand -plan stand accordingly. Outside and inside dimensions if using sump. Build stand taller , wider and longer then glass tank.
Trim work critical to finish stand to look good and hides cut flaws
