180 gallon 2’ deep tank lights

Will 3 Hydra 32’s over a 6’x2’x2’ tank be good for a mixed reef? I would like to have some SPS at some point. I am upgrading from a 90 gallon now.

I would say it would be fine for a mixed tank but if you want to add acropora you probably want three 64's in the end. Maybe start with three 32's or two 64's and you can always add more later.

I have 3 hydra 26's and 2 Kessils over my 180 2'. 3 years and good results with mixed reef. Mostly soft coral but I am having luck with SPS.

Thanks guys. My budget allowed for four Hydra 32’s over the 180g tank. I watched a BRS video and think I will be ok.
