I currently have a 55 gallon tank but only have 4 fish in it(pair of ocellaris clowns, 2 pj cardinals).
I'm going to be getting a 180 gallon tank so i'm thinking about just transferring everything into that tank.. my question is, if i have a pair of ocellaris can i also have a pair of lighting maroon clowns in the tank as well? I know they're territorial but i didn't know since there would be 180 gallons instead of 55.. I know that you're not suppose to have different species of tangs because they're territorial as well but when you're tank is big enough you can have multiples so i just wasn't sure

i am not saying it is impossible but it is quite difficult. I have seen people do it like Melev and the BRS team. I think you could do multiple ocelaris but mixing different species of clowns especially the more aggressive ones I would say no to. Also if you do decide you want to do all the same species of clowns add them all at once and make sure you have plenty of hiding spaces and maybe a couple nems to help keep the aggression down.

Gotcha, I just didn't know if it worked like it does with tangs or if it was completely different.. I can probably just leave the ocellaris in my 55g tank and use it for a frag tank
