We've got saltwater in the tank! Another weekend of work in the books.

After the BioSpira, I dosed 16mL of ammonia and got the ammonia up to about 2ppm. Going to test again in a little while and see how it's doing!

Got running water from the inlet of the water heater. You can see all the fittings we need to use to get it to 1/4" tubing

I used BioSpira to get the tank started. We've been making some upgrades around the house. Here's what's taken up most of my time lately:

We've got new inhabitants in the tank!

Started with 5 chromis and 3 anthias. Unfortunately I lost 2 chromis and 1 Anthia inexplicably jumped out during a feeding one day!
We've also began working on the wood structure that will cover the metal stand.

very nice! how did you mount the ipad to keep it in place?Woodwork is 99% done, put in an old iPad I had lying around built in to be able to control the Apex. Loved the way it came out!
