180g enough for this many tangs?

One element to consider too is the total swim space and the hiding space- if you have a bare tank (extreme case) then it's like a bare room with no beds. Having more rocks and crevices essentially provide (beds) for fish. So just bear that in mind when you stock them. for every additional fish you want to create an additional "hiding place". And the same time to provide enough, unobstructed open area for them to stretch their legs. So I agree with most of the folks here you will have to be very creative with your rock work to allow both kinds of spaces to happen, or to make some adjustments on your wish list.

If you ask the question "is a 180 big enough" my initial thought is that you might be able to go even bigger. If that is true, then you already know the answer to your question. A 180 is definitely not big enough! :0) Honestly though, get the biggest tank you can and you'll probably want to upgrade in a year or two anyway. :0)
