I am working on getting a 180g (72" wide) or 150g (48" wide)tank. I would like to house the following fish. Your thoughts.

Sohal tang
Blue Hippo tang
Purple tang
Achilles tang
Lemonpeel angelfish
Regal angelfish
Manderin
2 sets of clowns
anthias

Thats all I can think of for now.

The tangs will get big! If you keep species like the Achilles you will need to feed multiple times a day. Be sure to plan to have a really good nutrient export system in place to balance out the tank bioload or you will have lots of algae or ammonia spikes.

Will it be a problem to keep all of those tangs, or change one out for a powder blue or naso, or take one off.

The naso tangs get really big over time. Also, with that many tangs in a tank that size you may get fighting/fish aggression

I'd say take the sohal and achillies off your list and add the powder instead. Be careful and quarantine. Tangs are notorious ich magnets

I think four tangs for that sized tank would be a bit much. Achilles are my all time favorite tangs, but they are extremely delicate so make sure to do a fair amount of research if you do decide to go with one. Personally I'd only go for 2 tangs since chances of aggressive behavior wont be as high. I'd definitely take the Sohal off the list as they get very large and would be happier in a larger tank when mature. In that sized tank the two pairs of clowns should be fine, but I'd try to get them around the same time and age (if possible) since clowns can get pretty nasty over time.
