Current Tank Situation

I Used to Have this Nano 24g SCA, traded it for my new Build

I traded my 24g for a 180g used Marineland, this is my Bro in Law securing the tank

The Next Day I started on the stand 2x6 and something to Drank





I picked up the top of the stand today, had it cut at homedepot and got some stain. The stain will be going back the wife didnt like the color, lol

Thanks! Im really looking forward to this tank, I still need to leak test it. But I want to stain it then leak test it. One question, would you add a pad under the tank?

Yeah it doesn't hurt to have one, Home Depot has the cheap neoprene pads that u can roll out and cut with scissors, or you could do a foam pad. Also that was a good choice of beer.

Rimmed tanks do not usually require pads. I do not have one under mine

Tank was Pretty Heavy, I had a total of 4 of us lift it on the stand. Then I marked the holes to drill. Went ok no leaks so far. Gonna leak test it all week

The 180G is holding water just fine. I wiped it down a little and noticed this tiny thing in the Plastic. What do you guys think? The Glass itself is fine

I think you could jb weld the brace. I'm not an expert though. Is the glass is fine I don't think it will cause you an issue
