1ft hippo tang

Was just sat by my tank wondering has anyone ever seen a 1ft hippo tang in a home aquarium what's the biggest that you have seen and what size tank

Seen one about a foot (didnt measure it) at LFS in a 400. They said the Naso was over a foot and the tang looked just as big.

Thats cool I never seen one that big and wondered how many paople actually had them grow to that size in home aquarium

There is at least a 10 inch Soho at my lfs

Mine is around 10 inch in a 400G tank had him.since he was a baby in 2007. Started in a 150 G and moved to my 400G around 8 years ago. Looks small in FTS

Nice fish and tank taken a good few years to grow to that size

Sadly most average reefers can't keep Dory alive long enough for it to get that big. Also I could be wrong but I think the females don't get a full ft like the males can.
But yes I have seen blue tangs in peoples tanks that look like a blue oscar.
