I don't know how but I got .1ppm.copper in my fluval eco 13.5g. I'm running carbon and cuprisorb and it went down to .1 from .2ppm. I know copper kills in vertebrates. What's the toxic level of copper to kill them and what symptoms should I watch for ?

I think if you keep being aggressive with your copper removal plan (water change is the fastest, of course), then you will probably not see any inverts die. But keep heading to zero.

PS: What was the copper source?

I don't know what's the source. I think maybe false positive I been trying to figure it out. I test water and get .000 and when I add salt I get .03. I thought that it was my rodi water since I didn't change my filters for a while however I was still getting 0 tds. I changed filters but my problem didn't go away. The only thing I dosed was kick ick pro which is suppose to be copper free. I'm running poly filter and it's been few hours with no color change so I don't know if I did have cooper or not

I doubt with such little copper you'd see any 'yellowing' of the 'water to begin with. I'm not certain that poly filter alone will do the trick, but carbon will. If it makes you feel any better, I had a large hermit crab in a sump that didn't die when I twice had to 'Nuke' my FOWLR tank with copper-- the crab lived through copper at 1.75+ o_O
