Don’t be too hard on me please - want honest opinions but this is my first aquascape ever so I know I’ve probably made some mistakes. There are some things I don’t like but some things I love.

Just a thought but it looks like it is right up against the back of the tank. You might consider sliding it out just a little so you can clean the back glass and get some flow behind the aquascape.

Ditto about not having rocks up against the back glass. I also have a center overflow section and I have >1 inch of space to allow for good flow to pick up detritus. I like your scape; plenty of areas to put frags on. One thing that I regret doing in my tank was stacking too many rocks up high. With my lights (even turned down), my highest rock formation gets way too much PAR. If I were to do it again, I would lower the height of my scape to be lower than 3/4 the max height..but that's just me.

I guess it does look like they are right against it. We do have about 3 inches of clearance between the rocks and glass. We can pull them away more if we need to. I think height wise we are probably right at 3/4, maybe slightly taller but not by too much.

Wow, for a first time aquascape, that looks great. Get it wet!
I really wish I would have had way better tools and different foundation rocks. But live and learn. Haha it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind but it turned out okay

Nothing to be ashamed of with that aquascape! Looks fantastic!

I see what you mean with the foundation rocks. Might be tough putting certain corals onto them but they look porous enough where you can find spaces. The fun is using your creativity! Nice job!

Moved it around slightly to not seem like such a wall of rocks on the left and pulled it away from the back enough that I can stick my hand in between the glass and rocks

Love it. I'm getting a 120g at the end of the month and love seeing all the aquascapes. They give me a lot to think about when I go to do mine. Good Job!

Visually, it looks fantastic. Also make sure each rock is stable. Assume some creature (shrimp, fish) is going to dig around and try to make everything collapse!

Looks nice, just need to make sure you can get flow and light to the hard to reach places. To provide you more places to place your corals.
Yup we have 2 more lights we are going to add as well as two gyres so hopefully it will be enough.

Yeah everything is pretty stable and glued into place haha. That was one thing we made sure of. We put pressure on everything and if it felt wobbly we readjusted or added a small piece below to secure it

For a first attempt i would say that looks very impressive indeed.
You got over hangs, swim throughs, caves, plenty of places to put corals at varying heights, left enough room for flow around edges near glass and to clean glass with a scraper,
Once you get it wet you will then see if have any dead spots or low flow areas where detritus settles,if so just re- arrange your power heads accordingly or add a small power head in middle of tank facing towards the rocks so no low flow areas for detritus to settle.but looks very pleasing to the eye and once covered in corals i think they will grow in just nicely.
Bravo ^_^

I would make mor islands, beak up the big structure to two or more and move it more to the front.
some ideas here too

We have room in the front for smaller rocks - also some appear to be connected from the frontal view but they aren’t. Also doesn’t help that the only way I could break rocks up were basically a hammer and smashing them created lots of round pieces instead of cool shapes sadly

The link I gave you help with that issue small pieces.
visually your current rocks ape looks like one. If you move the middle fat peace to the side and leave a bigger gap it will feel more like two island. Also If one is lower than the other it will feel more interesting to the eye.

I can’t move anything at this point. It’s all glued together and I don’t want to destroy it

I feel your pain. I have reorder my tank like 15 times and now as I am looking to move I am hoping to upgrade the tank and will go with the method I linked for you.
Remember it is you who have to like it the most :)
