So I decided to experiment and use an AIO tank as a sump.
I just finished after so many headaches and water spills.
I decided to use hoses for now until I can order some nice colored pipe and fittings.
Do you guys see any potential issues regarding flooding. I hate when that happens and would like to know all the potential issues soni can prepare.
I've already calculated my sump size Incase my pump shuts off and siphons back. It will hold enough until the pickup tube reaches air and breaks the siphon.
As for the HOB I e read that if power cuts off and starts up that this will keep going and could be a flooding issue.
Also earlier the flex hose that I bought at my LFS that goes into the slip on bulkhead on the bottom of my eshopp HOB overflow slipped off. Was I suppose to get something to tighten this on it. Flipped it around and was able to shove it in all the way. It's used.
This is the piece that slipped off earlier. I managed to use the other side and it was tighter. Alot tighter.
